Patti Alverson
Elizabeth Stein joins the Wind Board following a distinguished career spanning over 30 years as an attorney for the State of California, notably serving at the California Department of Education. A lifelong resident of Northern California, she has proudly called Sacramento her home since 1990. Elizabeth's commitment to serving vulnerable populations extends beyond her professional life, as evidenced by her previous role as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster youth and her volunteer work with various social service organizations. During her leisure time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling with her husband Deon, particularly to visit her adult children and grandchildren, as well as staying active by working out and walking her dogs Shadow and Mocha.

Patti Alverson
Drawing from a diverse background in education, Patti Alverson possesses a wealth of experience ranging from teaching and managing hands-on science labs to coordinating STEM competitions and science fairs. With a longstanding dedication to supporting youth and aiding them in realizing their full potential, she is a natural fit for the Wind board. Recently retiring from the California Department of Education, Patti’s passion for education and her commitment to assisting homeless youth remain steadfast.

linzy davenport
Linzy Davenport, RN, serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Medical Center, overseeing a 287-bed hospital with a 52-bed Emergency Department, which caters to over 341,177 Kaiser Permanente members. As a prominent healthcare provider in the Greater Sacramento region, Kaiser Permanente insures one-third of the population, boasting a workforce of over 14,000 employees and nearly 1,900 physicians. With a career spanning various leadership roles within Kaiser Permanente since 2011, Linzy's expertise in healthcare management and quality improvement has been recognized through numerous accolades, including prestigious fellowships and awards.

Tami pierson
Tami Pierson has worked in public service with the state of California for over 30 years, including her current role as the Director of the School Fiscal Services Division at the California Department of Education. A Northern California native and long-time Sacramento resident, Tami has dedicated her career to ensuring fiscal integrity, transparency, and accountability in public education. Her work includes the development and oversight of key monitoring processes, the shaping of fiscal policy, and the ongoing professional development of both state and local agencies. Tami’s passion for supporting underserved and at-risk populations extends beyond her professional roles.

AUstin Manning
Austin Manning is the President and CEO of Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center, a 377-bed, acute care,
nonprofit hospital located in Carmichael, California. Before
joining Dignity Health, Manning served as Chief Executive
Officer of Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah.
During his tenure, the hospital expanded key services,
including women’s health, neonatal care, cardiovascular
surgery, and pediatrics. Under his leadership, the hospital
experienced growth in patient volume and operational
performance, and he introduced new initiatives to
strengthen employee engagement and workplace culture.
Prior to his time at Timpanogos Regional, Manning held Chief Operating Officer roles at Los Robles Health System in Thousand Oaks and Timpanogos Regional, and also served as Vice President of Operations at OU Medical System in Oklahoma City. He holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a member of the
American College of Healthcare Executives. Manning also serves on the American Heart Association’s Executive Leadership Team

Gregory Patton
Greg Patton has worked in the financial services industry in the greater Sacramento area for over 40 years. Holding executive management positions in local community banks, he has worked with small businesses and not for profit agencies to provide banking services and lending solutions throughout the region. Patton has also served on the Board of Directors for several, not for profit, agencies, contributing leadership and financial expertise.
With undergraduate degrees in education and economics, this diverse background has led to extensive public speaking, auctioneering, financial training, and insights provided to banking clients and many social service providers in the area.
Greg and his wife Charlotte along with Rockwell, the border collie are longtime residence of Cameron Park.

Shing Chung, MD, brings decades of dedicated medical experience to the Wind Youth Services Board of Directors. Throughout her career as a primary care physician with The Permanente Medical Group in Sacramento, Dr. Chung developed a passion for serving vulnerable populations and advocating for equitable access to healthcare and vital resources.
Her clinical expertise, combined with her empathy for youth facing housing instability, guides her mission to create sustainable, compassionate support systems that empower individuals and transform communities.

Mollie Murphy
Mollie was known as an unabashed extrovert and compassionate people person who valued deep connections. Mollie's academic, professional, and volunteer pursuits were all driven by her belief in the inherent worth of every individual and her passion for children and families. From her advocacy work with STAND Anti-Genocide Coalition to her efforts as a Family Services Coordinator for immigrant and refugee families, Mollie dedicated herself to improving the lives of others. As an attorney and board member for Wind Youth Services, she continued her advocacy, striving to create safe spaces for homeless and foster youth. Mollie's legacy of kindness, advocacy, and service lives on in the hearts of those she touched, including her husband Craig and daughter Addilyn.
