Their leadership not only shapes the trajectory of our services but also profoundly impacts the community by fostering positive change and support for vulnerable youth.

Elizabeth Stein joins the Wind Board following a distinguished career spanning over 30 years as an attorney for the State of California, notably serving at the California Department of Education. A lifelong resident of Northern California, she has proudly called Sacramento her home since 1990. Elizabeth's commitment to serving vulnerable populations extends beyond her professional life, as evidenced by her previous role as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster youth and her volunteer work with various social service organizations. During her leisure time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling with her husband Deon, particularly to visit her adult children and grandchildren, as well as staying active by working out and walking her dogs Shadow and Mocha.

Shweta Haight serves as the Vice President and Director of Consumer Digital Product Management at Tri Counties Bank in Roseville, California. As a leading Northern California community bank, Tri Counties Bank manages $9.9 billion in assets and operates nearly 80 branches and loan offices across the state. With over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Shweta has held key roles at Franklin Templeton Investments, Golden 1 Credit Union, and the California Earthquake Authority prior to joining Tri Counties Bank. She holds an MBA in Finance from the Siva Sivani Institute of Management in Hyderabad, India, showcasing her strong foundation in business and finance.

Patti Alverson

Drawing from a diverse background in education, Patti Alverson possesses a wealth of experience ranging from teaching and managing hands-on science labs to coordinating STEM competitions and science fairs. With a longstanding dedication to supporting youth and aiding them in realizing their full potential, she is a natural fit for the Wind board. Recently retiring from the California Department of Education, Patti’s passion for education and her commitment to assisting homeless youth remain steadfast.

Linzy Davenport, RN, serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Medical Center, overseeing a 287-bed hospital with a 52-bed Emergency Department, which caters to over 341,177 Kaiser Permanente members. As a prominent healthcare provider in the Greater Sacramento region, Kaiser Permanente insures one-third of the population, boasting a workforce of over 14,000 employees and nearly 1,900 physicians. With a career spanning various leadership roles within Kaiser Permanente since 2011, Linzy's expertise in healthcare management and quality improvement has been recognized through numerous accolades, including prestigious fellowships and awards.

Thomas Kane serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Wind Youth Services. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing, Digital, and Product Management at Tri Counties Bank, situated in Roseville, California. Tri Counties Bank, a prominent Northern California community bank, boasts assets totaling $9.9 billion and operates approximately 80 branches and loan offices across the state. Before his tenure at Tri Counties Bank, Mr. Kane held various roles in product management and marketing at Brink’s, Inc. He holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, and a BA in Communication Arts and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Tosca Wilson

Tosca Wilson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work, bringing over 20 years of experience in the field of Social Services. As the Associate Chief Administrative Officer for Kaiser Permanente, Tosca oversees multiple outpatient departments that serve community members across the Greater Sacramento Area. Throughout her career, Tosca has been committed to improving the lives of marginalized individuals and creating pathways for positive change. She is particularly passionate about supporting youth, ensuring they have the opportunities and resources needed to achieve their goals and realize their potential.

Tami pierson

Tami Pierson has worked in public service with the state of California for over 30 years, including her current role as the Director of the School Fiscal Services Division at the California Department of Education. A Northern California native and long-time Sacramento resident, Tami has dedicated her career to ensuring fiscal integrity, transparency, and accountability in public education. Her work includes the development and oversight of key monitoring processes, the shaping of fiscal policy, and the ongoing professional development of both state and local agencies. Tami’s passion for supporting underserved and at-risk populations extends beyond her professional roles.

Lucy lawrence

Lucy Lawrence serves as a Data Reporting Analyst for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. She holds a BA in Child Development, an MBA in Nonprofit Management, and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt specializing in performance improvement and data-driven strategy. With a career spanning healthcare and education, Lucy brings a unique blend of analytical expertise and compassionate leadership to her role. Her work aligns with Wind Youth Services’ mission to support homeless and at-risk youth in Sacramento through strategic, accessible, and equitable programming. Outside of work, Lucy enjoys adventuring with family and friends.

MolLie Murphy

Mollie was known as an unabashed extrovert and compassionate people person who valued deep connections. Mollie's academic, professional, and volunteer pursuits were all driven by her belief in the inherent worth of every individual and her passion for children and families. From her advocacy work with STAND Anti-Genocide Coalition to her efforts as a Family Services Coordinator for immigrant and refugee families, Mollie dedicated herself to improving the lives of others. As an attorney and board member for Wind Youth Services, she continued her advocacy, striving to create safe spaces for homeless and foster youth. Mollie's legacy of kindness, advocacy, and service lives on in the hearts of those she touched, including her husband Craig and daughter Addilyn.
